We skied for about 2 hours up the fire road this afternoon. Snow was pretty soft and wet. It tended to sink a bit under foot, but we didn’t have any issues with snow sticking to the fish scales. Downhill was pretty slow going. There was plenty of snow left and the tracks were good. We met 4 other skiers enjoying the beautiful weather out on the trail. Conditions should be good tomorrow, especially during the first part of the day before it warms up.

Pulling out of the parking lot, we saw someone examining the conditions at the gate/trailhead. We stopped to shout that the conditions were good, and we were greeted by a lovely man named Chuck! We’ve enjoyed his ski reports several times and he encouraged us to write our own, so here you go. Happy skiing!
