Discussion:

It was a snowy day at West Bragg Creek, going from about 12 cm in the morning to 23-25cm by the time I left at 4:00pm. Thankfully the temperature stayed below freezing... just barely... toping out at about -0.2 C. The surface snow was fairly light and dry, but at the interface between the new snow and the old snow base, it was wet and sticky. No icing, as long as your skis were wide enough to float in the dry snow, instead of slicing down into the wet stuff.

I did a bunch of laps of the Crystals and links, mostly breaking trail in soft silence. Only a handful of other skiers were out. Plus a bunch of snowshoers/hikers and fat bikers on the adjacent West Crystal Single-track trail.

It looks as if temperatures will remain below freezing overnight, along with more snowfall. It looks a lot more like February than April out there!
