Once again any cold "green" wax gave great grip at -18°, especially appreciated while ascending the long hill from the Lake Minnewanka trailhead. Smooth but slow striding 6 km to the bridge. Track depth and quality improved from then onwards, except the last 2 km to the Warden's cabin they were bit windblown. Enjoyed sunshine and solitude at the cabin. Descending the long cold (!) hill around 4:45, was surprised to see two skiers starting uphill. Moonlight ski ? Overcast was dimming the moon, and the wind had picked up. They were wearing heavy coats.
