Discussion:
We arrived at 12:30 to find the parking lot with only a couple of open spaces, as expected on a warm weekend. Yet we only saw a few groups during our 2 hour ski. Temperature at zero all afternoon. No wind so no drifting over of the tracks like we frequently see between the far point and the lake. Some tree debris in the thicker parts of the forest, but it did not interfere at all. A dusting of fresh snow since the recent grooming gave decent traction, apart from later in the afternoon when sun exposed sections were cooling down in the shade. The return from the lake to the parking lot was a fast blast, and not iced over at all.
