Interestingly, staff only trackset the left side for the first 700 metres. I think that is a very smart move because it makes it clear that hikers are not allowed beyond the 700 metre junction.
The trackset is thin in places, but very manageable. Skate skiing conditions are very good.
I did forget to bring overmitts... Silly!
