Great Divide lots of new snow

Discussion:

We Started out on Great Divide and then on to Telemark. New snow was covering the newly groomed and track set trail. Conditions were great at the beginning, lots of glide and a good kick, no sticking. Temp at 9:30 was about minus 3. When we turned back onto Divide the temp rose to near zero and unfortunately the sticking began. We spent the rest of the trip stopping every couple of kms to scrap. Very few people out. With cooler temperatures, the lake Louise area would be great skiing. Grooming is excellent, just the warm temp causing problems with wax ski's.
