Better biking than skiing

There is still lots of snow in LL and at higher elevations. Unfortunately, several nights with no overnight freeze has changed the snow to isothermal, aka "mush". I justified our trip to LL taking a small car with 2 passengers. Definitely did more driving and sightseeing than skiing. Checked out the Bow Valley Parkway on return, it's in great shape for biking and will be open to cyclists from May 1 - June 25.
Winter is not over yet and weather is changing constantly, but today biking would have been the better choice.

Surprised that there was no overnight freeze in Lake Louise last night!
Even in Banff, I had to scrape the windshield this morning.

Say what you will about isothermal snow but it can't be beat for keeping fish fresh.
