GIBBON PASS via REDEARTH CREEK and SHADOW LAKE LODGE - Best Ever!

Discussion:
The Parks Canada Trail Condition report still says Redearth Creek was last trackset on Thursday March 28. WRONG. It snowed heavily on Thursday night and Mitch reset the track on Friday March 29. It snowed again on Friday night and I set out on Saturday morning March 30 with another 10 cms on top of the excellent track! Thank the north facing aspect for these excellent conditions.
Unfortunately it won't last long at lower elevations, but once past Lost Horse Creek, conditions will remain great.
There is so much snow above the lodge, that it was even challenging coming down on my light touring skis. Plus there is so much snow that the Cairn on Gibbon Pass is out of sight!
But what a day!
 Did not meet anyone on the way up today... but of course, why would anyone leave!

 Thanks to the snowshoers who had gone to the Pass
 Little Copper... my next destination!
