We met friends at the parking lot at 9:30am (Temp.-10C, -2C at the end). The bottom of the first hill was a bit icy, but once up on the level, the tracks were good. We skied beyond the Cascade River Bridge and found that here and beyond to Stoney Creek Bridge there was no grooming, but the skier-set tracks were in super shape. There was about 5-6 cms. of snow on the ground. Not all of us had time to ski to the Warden cabin, but Ray and I skied on to have lunch on the cabin deck and then on to the Stoney Creek Bridge via the forest route before returning on the fire road. The downhills on our way back were great fun. It was a fine day to put in 31 kms. Pretty tired, but happy!
Total distance: 31.00 Km
