Discussion:

We followed the fairly new grooming at PLPP. Elk Pass, Hydroline, Tyrwhitt, Lookout, then back down Hydroline, Fox Creek, and back to the trailhead at Elk Pass parking lot. The grooming was fantastic. Fresh, firm, and great traction with skins. This was our first time up to the Lookout, and while many had been up and back on the north side, nobody had been down the fresh corduroy from yesterday morning on the south side. It had about 50 metres of crusted corduroy just above the second hairpin while descending, but was still superb and easily skiable. (FYI, I have >50 years of downhill skiing experience and just took up classic XC skiing four years ago, so others might find it less enjoyable).

Total distance: 20.00 Km

Fantastic grooming on Tyrwhitt
