I'm a long-time reader but this is my first post here. This morning I skied Fox Creek, Hydroline, and Tyrwhitt on impeccable fresh tracks, returning to the Elk Pass parking lot the same way. Fog in the morning lifted quickly to reveal brilliant blue skies (not like Calgary!) and the downhills were so much fun that you couldn't help smiling.
But the real reason I'm posting is to compliment the groomers on the miraculous tracks they set in a measly 5cm of snow on the middle trails - Wooley, Amos, Meadow, Lower Lake Group Camp. I skied those on Tuesday (yesterday) and it was terrific - fast tracks but still controllable downhills. So thank you, groomers!

Thank you for signing up and doing your first trip report! You even managed to capture the Patterson meadows track and mount fox in perfect sunny conditions, which has resulted in a serious case of FOMO.

So I suppose that mentioning that there was ZERO wind and very few people on the trails won't make you feel better. :)
And lots of chickadees and interesting animal tracks!
