Discussion:

10-20 cm for Bragg and Canmore between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, so they say. Unlikely to bond well initially with the frozen under layer. Those badgers and groundhogs are apparently wise.

West Bragg Creek got precipitation in the form of rain on Saturday morning. This was followed by 5 cm of very wet, heavy snow in the afternoon. After sundown, the temperatures dropped and the snowfall intensified, with 10cm of colder-drier snow on top of the wet stuff as of 9:00pm.
The snow is forecast to continue falling overnight and all day Sunday, so we could have accumulations of 20-25cm.
That effectively covers all the ice and bare spots. Expect lots of deep, fluffy snow on Sunday. But also anticipate treacherous driving conditions on the roads and deep snow in the parking lot.

Snow harvesting and covering the icy snowplowing trench on Loggers hill (near West Crystal Line), during wet snowfall on Saturday afternoon. This should create a great base for all the new snow!
