Cascade once again

Lured by the fresh grooming at the far end, Sam and I returned to Cascade for another fantastic ski. Other than some minor glazing on the lower half of the big hill, conditions are holding up really well. The tracks were excellent throughout, including the road section. The grip and glide were both excellent, with Sam's fish scales and my skins performing perfectly. The downhill sections as we returned to the bridge from the 10.5 km mark were simply amazing - perfect speed in perfect tracks for perfect gliding!! Even the ascent back up the road to the trailhead felt like effortless gliding. The sun was mostly muted by clouds and the temps never got much above zero, so these great conditions should persist for the next day or two. Enjoy!

Great report, but how could you turn back after only 10 km in such great conditions... we went 15 km to include all that great tracksetting!
