Wonderful Wedge

From the golf course parking, there was only corduroy, no tracksetting, visible north on Bill Milne, so the outing was limited to two enjoyable laps of Wedge Connector. Tracksetting was surprisingly deep for such a shallow snowpack, nice crisp single track in clean soft snow for the most part. A few avoidable dirty patches on the new trail, which needs snow but will become a great improvement for novices. It’s nice that the grooming still carries on up to the viewpoint / picnic table at the old bridge. Warm air temp +3C this aft, but the snow stayed cold -2C and heavy clouds prevented solar damage so it will be good again tomorrow.
