Today, I received an email from Peggy Holroyd of Alberta Forestry and Parks, introducing the Final West Bragg Creek Trails Master Plan. This is what she says:

Alberta Forestry and Parks, in partnership with Bragg Creek Trails, is pleased to share with you the final West Bragg Creek Trails Master Plan; an update to the All Seasons Trail Plan (2010) for the West Bragg Creek Trail System, located within the West Bragg Creek Provincial Recreation Area (PRA) and Kananaskis Public Land Use Zone (PLUZ).
Albertans, trail users, key stakeholders, and Indigenous communities were invited to provide input into development of the plan in two phases between December 2021 and January 2023.
Thank you to your organization and members for your participation in the process. We appreciate and value your feedback in the development of a plan that will guide future planning and design of trails in West Bragg Creek, while managing competing uses and protecting valuable ecosystems.

Thanks for posting the report. Great to see a long-term commitment to trail development and maintenance. I noted with appreciation the moving of the winter trail season up to November 1 from December 1 and I hope that this year's low early season snowfall will not become the norm.
