Just me.

Discussion:

I skied the west perimeter (Moose/Mountain views) this morning. Conditions are very good. I will do another loop after I have some lunch and report back.

In the afternoon, I ended up skiing to Fullerton parking via Loggers / Elbow outward and then Iron Springs, East Sundog, East Crystal Springs on the return. Today's grooming covered the core trails up as high as Sundog. After that there was about 5 cm over the old grooming (just roller packing on the Parks portion). Conditions on Elbow were very good anyway to the escarpment about 1.5 km away from Fullerton parking. The only place where walkers have done substantial damage is on Iron Springs from the Iron Creek / Dead End junction to the Strange Brew biking trail junction (just south of Sundog). The descent on the southern Iron Springs loop is pretty rutted up. The descent on the curved hill on Elbow about 1 km north of the Iron Springs / Elbow junction is quite dished out. Otherwise the hills had good coverage and were pleasant to descend.

Total distance: 34.30 Km
