Maybe I'll just stay home and watch movies, read a good book, or bake cookies.

When I got up this morning my digital indoor/outdoor thermometer said outside was -39.7 degC. The next time I checked it was LL.L degC.
Lower than Low point Low
I walked over and kicked him...stiff as a board!

What grip wax to use in -40C? The answer is none. The snow will be like sandpaper so you won't need gripwax.
Anyways, I'll be doing a jigsaw puzzle this weekend, and I'll be thinking about the pine-beetles dying. This cold snap should put a pretty good dent in them.

Weird, not a single car in the WBC parking lot this morning, except the abandoned one. And looks like a bit of fresh too.

Wait what? They're not out there tracksetting?!
Those volunteers are such a bunch of slackers I tell you!

Masid, in the picture you posted, I do see a hatchback with the trunk open. It's at the start of Hostel Loop. Is that a person or a moose standing behind the car?

Good eye Arie. Apparently I need to update my prescription. Seems to be a popular parking stall though. Some kind of nefarious moose activity for sure. You never know what they get up to when nobody is around.

Sadly, the weather is taking its toll.

Elephant Graveyard and moose/badger sightings. Sure getting some good laughs out of all these comments. No brain freeze happening indoors.
