To add to MaSid's report from today: All trails had at least one machine set track except where otherwise noted. Started out on Mountain Road, where the double trackset was set so close together that you got to rub shoulders with passing skiers. Nordic Pulse reports it was reset today, hopefully further apart! Other than that, the grooming and tracksetting was excellent as far as the minimal snowpack allowed. I enjoyed a discussion with MaSid at the Moose Loop Mountain View West junction. We then parted ways as I continued onto Mountain View West, Mountain View, West Crystal, and Loggers.
Loggers was the first trail that had no machine tracksetting, but had good skier tracks. Headed S on Elbow to the N junction with Iron Springs. Continued S on Elbow which was not packed but had a good skier track. Shortly after that I met a snowmobile coming from Fullerton pulling a roller, and so had freshly groomed snow to where I turned around at the Sugar Mama junction. The groomer had also cut up and removed the tree across the trail that SteveR reported yesterday. Shortly after I turned around, the groomer passed me heading back to Fullerton after looping around S on Iron Springs, so I had more freshly groomed snow heading N on Iron Springs to the Iron Creek junction. After an out-and-back on Iron Creek, I returned to the parking lot via Iron Springs, East Crystal, and Bunny.
A great day that will hopefully hold me until we come out of the deep freeze!

Thanks for the very helpful report, Mike. Hopefully, one of the WBC groomers will see your report of the Mountain Road double trackset being too close together and fix’r up next time.
