Cascade still great snow

Discussion:

Cascade Valley was way better than we expected. Actually it was quite good that we continued to the end of the tracksetting and Stoney Creek cabin. -1C at the start, +3C at the finish. No ice on the road today; pine cones at the bottom of the hill were manageable. We skied in fast tracks, soft snow and fresh grooming beside the tracks. Grip worked reasonably well with purple wax. Had a quick return ski; the descent on the big hill was slightly slower due to the warming temperature. Definitely worthwhile. Happy New Year!
