Today I skied Moose Loop and Mountain View West. -It was 2 degrees at the parking lot when I arrived.
To be clear, there are stretches with quite icy conditions, but for the most part I found the trails to be in good shape. Thanks to the groomers for their hard work. They've done a great job, despite the limited amount of snow that mother nature has provided (so far). Purple wax worked well for me today.
I was lucky enough to meet Bob and Andrea on Mountain View West. Thanks for the kind words, you two.
Also had the great pleasure of meeting Conrad Schiebel who is President of the WBC Association. Conrad was kind enough to fill me in on some of the latest grooming information. He's been involved at WBC for a number of years now. The association has just hired a new operations manager (starts on January 2nd). Hopefully a few more dumps of snow in 2024 will make him a busy man!

It's nice to hear that you had a chance to chat with Conrad and that he was able to be transparent about what is happening at BCT regarding grooming. Not everyone knew that one experienced volunteer groomer was fired and that other experienced groomers left the organization. BCT has struggled in the past with their transparency and it is wonderful to hear that they are improving.
