West Bragg Creek is mediocre

Discussion:

I went for a nice day of skiing at West Bragg Creek today despite the poor grooming. Skied Crystalline, Mountain View and the road. Started out with temps at -2 and returned at +2. The perfect temperatures and sunny skies made for a nice day away from the city.

Though reports indicated that grooming had been done, many of the trails had shallow and wobbly tracks and were very uneven and rough. As well, a number of the trails have not been groomed since the last snowfall. There is more than enough snow for grooming, but the quality of the grooming is not quite what I have grown accustom too over the past number of years. I’m going to head out to Kananaskis Lakes or Mt. Shark tomorrow and hope for better trail conditions.
