Tyrwhitt Table Talk

Discussion:

-11C at 11AM start. -8C at 1:45 PM. Green wax was perfect.
Skied from Elk Pass parking lot to Elk Pass - out and back to Tyrwhitt picnic table - down Hydroline, Patterson, Elk Pass and Fox Creek to Elk Pass parking lot.
This area received 5 to 10cm of new snow on Friday night - as seen on the Tyrwhitt picnic table pictured below. None of these trails have been groomed since the snowfall.
Elk Pass track is good from previous grooming other than a 150m section above Blueberry Junction where a moose has been browsing along the trail. Tyrwhitt has fair skier set track (as far as the picnic table). Hydroline provided excellent track from previous grooming. Patterson previous track set is excellent other than a section of about 50m where a moose has been browsing adjacent to the meadow at the top of the last hill before the Elk Pass junction.
Fox Creek did not get much benefit from the recent snowfall= fair to poor skier set track with icy sections under some tree shadows.
A good ski in an awesome place.
