Discussion:
-2 at start and +8 when back in Canmore. Broke trail over moose or human prints to our destination. Plenty of snow for a groomer to even just pack down. Did not have any issues with open water. Stopped for coffee at Basecamp and found out after our ski that grooming would be done by Parks at "sometime"? P.S. be patient with me on the photos. Still learning.
Total distance: 11.00 Km
Clearing provided new sites (note baby trees protected by wire)
Enjoying a few circuits around. Note baby trees.
Took turns breaking trail but now a lovely trail
Lunch at campground and checked out pay phone which still works.

Very familiar with that shelter, seeing as it’s got a stove and all. An easy ski with a pile of wood and food to warm up (maybe a slice of pizza and a naramata for dessert).
Almost fooled by lack of snow though. Everything looks different this year so far.
