Tried to ski at West Bragg but should have gone to PLPP

Last Sunday I decided to check out West Bragg after reports of recent grooming/packing. This was a mistake. Conditions are poor to fair at best. Lots of evidence of walkers and bikers on the trails and little grooming effort to smooth out the trails. Back in the day when I worked on ski trails out in Ontario, we would have made better skiing conditions than I experienced at West Bragg, even with similar snow conditions.

After reading the reports of good skiing and track setting in PLPP and in Banff, I would recommend to people to take that extra time and drive a bit longer to get better skiing. Hopefully West Bragg will get more snow soon.
