Skied up Whiskey Jack to Elk Pass, down Hydroline, then Blueberry and back via Fox Creek and Moraine.

Conditions were great...

3rd weekend skiing at PLPP. Conditions in my opinion each time were better than those stated in the grooming report. Having skied at Lake Louise, Canmore and PLPP...I'm surprised PLPP isn't more prepared.

There were some twigs sticking up on Tyrwitt on sunday for example but far far fewer than now in Canmore or Louise 1A in November. Both Canmore and the 1A were trackset.

Grooming reports continue to mention "natural hazards exist on most trails" however the trails south of Elkwood parking have ~ twice the coverage of Canmore only increasing with elevation...with almost all the main trails in Canmore trackset. Why not in PLPP ?

Hope this changes this week for the Xmas holidays.
