more fresh snow at lake louise

Discussion:

I skied MLR and the Great Divide today. A few centimeters of fresh snow had fallen overnight over yesterday's grooming. I started a few minutes ahead of the groomer. The groomer started with the skate lane and the fresh corduroy took a long time to set properly, so I continued breaking trail in the covered trackset rather than skiing in the new skate lane. On the way back down, the skate lane was solid enough for a fun descent.
After a snack break at the car, I went up Tramline to the Great Divide trail. The skate lane looked pretty slow there, but the classic tracks were well-skied and reasonably fast. A little wobbly in spots. I skied down to the arch and back, and then back down Tramline to the car. The tracksetting on MLR was completed while I was on the Divide trail.
