I think I followed Helen's tracks through Patterson Meadow, then broke trail to East Elk Pass. As Alf said, the snow crust was very supportive, and it was actually easier to make my own parallel trail than to re-break the old track. The snowfa is looking a little lonely. Fresh wolverine track on top of the night's grooming; came along Tyrwhit then exited the trackset at Elk Pass. As Helen and others said, the grooming was superb, even at 3:00 in the afternoon when I finished.
