Discussion:

Lured by Chuckley's description of Boulton Creek yesterday, was all I needed to park at Boulton and ski up it. Last time I'd skied it was with Chuckley on a Meanderthal trip. Then the Septuagenarians raved about Fox Creek and that was so incredible, I had to check I was on the right trail. Thank you groomers for all that snow farming you do to enhance the grooming to such perfection, especially at this time of year!!! Temp was -8 at 9:45 and -2 at 2pm. Loved using blue wax to climb rather effortlessly up Hydroline Hill on that stellar grooming, then tucked down Patterson to ski through the those meadows. Couldn't wait to ski to West Elk Pass and on to Hydroline one more time and even got some glide on the blown in powder. Returned the same way, thinking I might make it to Bridge Lessons on time, but alas, IF this was my last ski of the season, it was so worthwhile. No "catapulting forward" even on Moraine at day's end.
