For what is likely my last ski of this awesome year, I went to PLPP knowing that it would be a great day. I started at the Visitor Centre at 9:30 and -17 (!) which was a lot colder than I had expected. I could see where the grooming from 2 nights ago had been, but there were a few cms of snow over the grooming. Meadow, Wooley, and Amos had seen at least one previous skier so the track was cleared (thanks!) and it was all lovely. But the feeling of stepping onto the brand new grooming of Whiskey Jack…my skins loved it! Beautiful snow the whole way up and not a speck of ice - the way down would have been perfect too. But I decided to try Pocaterra and Packers heading down, and the tracks were older, slower, and more skier-set but still lots of great snow. I finished off on Wheeler, which was awesome. -1 at the parking lot at 1pm, and I was pooped! See you next season!
Total distance: 23.00 Km
Beautiful WJ tracks
At the (very cold!) top of Pocaterra
The Packers sun felt great
