Discussion:

Our plan was to ski recently groomed and track set trails in the center of the Park, with some good hills in a circuit and have a beautiful fun day in the mountains. Mission accomplished in 4 hours including a lunch break at the WJ/Pocaterra junction. It was a perfect day with temperatures ranging from minus 11 C to minus 6 C. The day was mostly cloudy.
VR30 and VR40 worked well all day, with a touch of VR45 (one pair of skis) to climb back the Discovery Centre, at 2:00 pm. All tracks had some new snow after grooming. Meadow and Wheeler; less than 1 cm and moderately slow. Whiskey Jack, just groomed, was perfect with only a skiff of new snow (we went the wrong way today). Pocaterra was slow with 5 cm to 8 cm skier tracked snow (depth decreasing with elevation loss). Lynx, Amos and Wooley; 1 cm new snow that was easier skiing with warming temperatures.
