Private Pipestone

Pipestone loop with an extra trip around Merlin. Only four other vehicles in the parking lot at 1 pm. We passed four other skiers in our first half hour, and nobody in the remaining three hours. The occasional gust blew snow from the trees, and it seemed like we were experiencing a heavy snowfall for a minute or two. It had snowed about 4 cm since the tracksetting, and the tracks were in great condition throughout the area. The rest of the day was sunny and calm. The snow bombs were light and fluffy, so we rarely noticed them in the tracks. One of my favourite places when the grooming is recent like today.

Good tracks even after the fresh snow.
