We Made the Wrong Choice

After this latest snowfall,it was exciting to see all the new grooming indicated at Canmore Nordic Centre on Nordic Pulse. Unfortunately most of the grooming was completed prior to the snow storm, so the trails we wanted to ski (Bow, Banff, Rundle, Silvertip, Bruin, etc) were under 10 cm of snow.
Yesterday we enjoyed fantastic ski conditions at West Bragg Creek. 18 cm of new snow was groomed AFTER it fell. Many Family Day skiers enjoyed WBC. Today, Nordic Pulse indicated WBC grooming started mid morning, after much of the snow stopped. WBC groomers are quick to respond to whatever our weather gives them.
There is a good chance we would have enjoyed better grooming at WBC. We made the wrong choice.
