Discussion:

Nice day at PLPP today. I started at Pocaterra. Last night's grooming was FAST. Not quite icy, but close to it. And abrasive! I didn't have base binder on my skis, but three layers of wax were stripped off by the time I reached the Lynx junction. The next three layers lasted 35km :) Also a bit of old debris mixed in with the snow, but not catastrophic. I continued up Pocaterra. Fresh grooming ended at Packers, and I "broke trail" through a tiny bit of fresh light snow to Whiskey Jack. Some other skiers had broken trail beyond that. Tyrwhitt was lovely as ever in the sun. Favourite trail! A nice snack at Elk Pass, then down the other side. Up and down Blueberry, a bit of clumping but not too bad. Continued down to Fox Creek and Moraine, which were fast and good. Then up Whiskey Jack and back down Pocaterra, back to the parking lot.

Total distance: 43.00 Km
