-4 deg at 0830 at the Elk Pass trailhead. Fresh tracksetting and a skiff of snow, some flurries - lovely conditions. Just enough snow to cover the worst of the needles on Moraine. Whiskey Jack was in great condition. Heavier snow as I approached the Pocaterra/Whiskey/Tyrwhitt junction. Total accumulation was about 2 cm at the highest point on the Elk Pass/Tyrwhitt/Hydroline junction. Gorgeous conditions all round, with the 2 cm of fresh snow on the fresh grooming of Elk Pass.
