Skogan Pass from the North

Discussion:

Skied up to Skogan Pass yesterday from the north, starting from the parking lot next to the Banff Gate Mountain Resort at the base of Pigeon Mountain. Good snow coverage, skier-packed trail, but had to break trail with 50cm ski penetration for the last 700m to the groomed Skogan Pass trail. Didn't see anyone else all day. Light touring skis recommended, especially for the descent.

I rescued another pair of shorty skis from Switching Gear Friday afternoon, with the proud owner showing them off yesterday!
