April snow - wet and slow

Discussion:

Went for a tour on LT wax skis this afternoon, 0C with a stiff East wind. The stadium was a mess of half frozen mush and puddles. But skiing up on the World Cup trails was good, there must have been some grooming this morning. Continued on a skier track in deep snow on Rundle, then a slow-motion cruise down Wolverine in untracked heavy powder. Meadowview showed some previous grooming and looked fine for skate and classic skiing.
Snow should improve after temperature cools off. Nice to have winter back again!
