Started at 9:45 and followed the grooming from Elk parking lot to Elk Pass and it was excellent - soft enough for good grip on skins and wax skis. Tyrwhitt was a little crispier but still lovely fast tracks. Tyrwhitt from the meadow to Lookout Junction had a lot of debris, snow bombs and was fast. Whiskey Jack to well past Packers was excellent! - clean perfect tracks and loads of fun and a bit softer by after lunchtime. Tracks were good until Lynx but as we got closer to Pocaterra Hut the snow was very soft, ice in the tracks as well as some water. Finished our ski around 1:30 and temperature was +10C. Was a great spring ski! Winter is due to arrive again tomorrow...
