Lake Louise - Chateau to Peyto, Fairview, MLR, Great Divide & Tramline..

Discussion:

Skrastins arrived at Lake Louise to be greeted with a large volume of snow and NO grooming. Parks has advised this but it is incredulous that an area that gets so much money would be nit-pocking grooming after a large dump of snow. Grooming had been done in spots the night before but it was covered by new snow that night, Peyto was skied by two of us but were helped by an individual that skied part of it before. The trail had been groomed for the Lake Louise Loppet some weeks before and there was only a hint of track setting under the 8 inches of new snow, A large group did Fairview making new tracks. The Great Divide, MLR and Tramline were single track by many .
