We arrived at Upper Lake Parking at 10am (only a few parking spots as the lot is not plowed). -5C. The connector to Elk Pass parking was exquisite. Headed south on Elk Pass trail, then connected to Fox Creek. Fox was OK, but often bumpy/rough, with the usual tree debris. Back on the wonderful new tracksetting of Elk Pass trail, we arrived at the Blueberry junction, and then headed up the pristine tracks of Blueberry for about 1.5km. Returned to the BB junction table for lunch. Then up to Elk Pass. We returned via Hydroline, Patterson, Elk Pass trail, and the connector. By now the sun was working on the trails, slowing our glide with some catch & release occurring in the last 1/2 hour of our ski. Overall a good day (excellent in the morning). Those of us with skins did better than those on waxable skis. +2C at the end.

Total distance: 20.00 Km

Parking lot not plowed

Wonderful new tracks on the Connector
