Cold, crisp tracks on new grooming at PLPP

Discussion:

Starting at the Visitor Centre, the tracks were firm and somewhat icy. As we made our way south on Woolley and Wheeler, the tracks became softer. Blue wax worked well. At the junctions to Packers and Whiskey Jack, we observed 30 cm of ungroomed new snow with deep skier set tracks. It's disappointing to see all this new snow on Packers and Whiskey Jack, without grooming. A gentleman journeying down from Lookout, told my husband he skied through 45 cm of snow on Lookout's South side. Perhaps tonight we will be rewarded with grooming on the South end of PLPP.
Moraine, Fox, and Boulton were a delight to ski, with a few cm of new snow over Friday's grooming. Quite a chore ascending the ungroomed track from Boulton Bridge parking, back to Boulton parking! Wheeler was fast, and Meadow was great. The track to Pocaterra had thin snow cover, and some ice in the track.
