8cm of snow over most of Elbow. Just enough to cover the edges of the roller pack. I parked at 9am, -12c, calm, overcast.

Beware of gravel at the margins. Fantastic glide on blue Swix. There are two trees down on the short black detour.

The sun was kind to the fresh flakes at 1130 when I got back to Fullerton parking lot. It was still -3c.

There were two earnest hikers on the bottom of Iron Springs but they weren't post holing badly. I was worried hordes of hikers would be marching north upon my return but it was quiet. There was still good snow on the downhills to help control your speed.

I suspect the sun will cook off the snow by noon tomorrow. I was poling through to gravel in quite a few places.

It was good to ski and feel like it is still winter.

Total distance: 14.00 Km
