After meeting your group a couple of times in passing, it seems that we skied a similar up, down, round, and about route of 14km, but in opposite directions. Agree with your take on conditions, it was very pleasant skiing, with Swix blue extra working perfectly for us.

Excellent smooth and reasonably fast tracksetting on Kovach!

Discussion:

Started about 10am to -9C and light flurries. We skied Terrace, Kovach, Aspen, Link and others with some repeats. Yesterdays tracksetting was firm, icy in places, but covered everywhere with 1 to 2 cm of new snow. This made for generally good ski conditions, often with a icy feel, especially in the more sun exposed areas. The S-bends on the south aspect of Kovach were tricky and it sounded like our wax was being scraped off there. -5C at the finish. Overall, a pleasant ski.
