Or the astonished skier who had failed to read the reports - "WTF-grooming!".

Her Poppa skate skied at the Nordic Centre this morning. I thought I would see ErinP there!

FTG is my new favourite acronym!
It’s easy to be motivational with skies and tracks like that. Now for a few more good snow days before spring hits in earnest…

With the rise in popularity of the "follow the grooming" trip report it would seem that a new acronym (FTG) would be in order.

Just stunning, Erin!
And thanks to those posting such motivational reports over these very warm days, while we await another big dump of snow.

Discussion:
Blue sky day at PLPP following the new grooming. I started at the Visitor Centre at 9:30 and -3, and the snow was slightly icy but really manageable with my skins. I started up Meadow, Wooley, Amos, and Wheeler to the base of Packers, but when I left the new grooming and started up Packers it quickly became clear that it needed a few hours to soften up before I would feel comfortable going down some of the hills. I turned back and continued down Wheeler, which was mostly good but had some icier sections (especially near the south picnic table) where the groomer couldn’t lay down tracks. I did another run up Meadow and Wheeler before turning down Amos, which was softening up, and coming back on Wheeler and Meadow. It was +10 back at the parking lot at noon. Beautiful spring skiing!
