Hi Helen, nice to meet you again. I stayed out for hours on that same stretch (6 times for 30K) … it was one of those days you never want to end. I would have rated it 10 out of 10 but meeting you, my favourite trip reporter since Bob retired, turned it into an 11 out of 10 … you are such an inspiration to us ‘experienced’ skiers.

Seeing the groomer had just redone the Bill Milne/Wedge Triangle, I started off -1 from Mt Kidd golf course and skied the newer section first after crossing over the Evan-Thomas Bridge. It is a delightful new section of trail and felt likely will need more snow early season for at least that first little section before it crosses the road. Enjoyed talking to lots of hikers at the viewpoint/Picnic table who were heading in the "Green Monster" direction. Enjoyed chatting to Barry who was loving the conditions and going at a much better clip than me. Temp was -2 at junction with viewpoint but + 7 back at the car. Fish scales OK but not my kind of skis, except in these conditions. Wide corduroy and double trackset at Wedge section. Outstanding new grooming.
