I noted similar this morning in the upper Kananaskis lake parking lot and access to the ski trail that takes you over to the elk pass trailhead. More of an issue for skiers than grooming equipment as it’s usually groomed from elk pass.

Easy fix. A quick shovel party meet up would do it. I’d meet you there Chuck if I had a banff park pass. I got two shovels. Anyone else?

BAKER CREEK EASTWARDS - No Grooming Possible

Discussion:

We had hoped to ski east from Baker Creek for those wonderful views, and knowing that Ryan likes to trackset on Fridays, but alas he has not been able to access the trail with his machine!
Hopefully Parks Canada Highway Crew and the Railway Crew will fix the access issues.

Parks Canada cleared the Baker Creek Trailhead Parking, but left no way for a snowmobile to access the trail!

It's going to be a while before we can ski this meadow

Again, at Protection Railway access, CPR has not considered grooming access to the ski trail
