Discussion:
I was born and raised in a simple cabin at the foot of Badger Mountain. Life was good -- hiking in the summer and skiing all winter. Until one day Mom told us kids that badgers ate our Dad. That night at supper she said we should "just get over it".
But I never did…until now…decades later.
In what has been a dry and dismal winter at long last a deep and pure blanket of snow came and the people rejoiced. I glanced at my skis over in the corner, there and then deciding it was time to face my inner badgers and…..
….Return to Badger Mountain!
 The slopes of Badger Mountain.
 Ominous warning.
 Sure enough, the place is still crawling with badgers.
 A short time later I came upon a guesome scene. It looked as though this skinny-skier put up a fight but the poor soul didn't stand a chance.
I pushed on and made it to the summit. Now when I walk through town people will all turn and say, there goes...
