CASCADE VALLEY to STONEY CREEK CABIN - Recent tracksetting holding up well

Discussion:
Another interesting day, with very good conditions.
The cool temperatures continue to make waxing easy... I used green wax, but any hard wax will do.
Could have chatted all day with Ann and John about old times in Banff, but I wanted to go a little further.
The Norseman Ski Club were out in force, and it was nice to be recognized by Judy... others remembered that we recently met on the MLR.
Only one other went to the Cabin, but I highly recommend it!
 Signage well placed at the trailhead
 Visitors from Terrace BC are loving the conditions
 Clear snow on the bridge to see the Cascade River below at the 6 km crossing
 Single trackset between the Cascade River and Stoney Creek
 Was trying to get a photo of a distant wind blow, but all of a sudden I was covered in a veil of snow!
 Stoney Creek Cabin is snow bound
 Note my skis... I so wanted to get them in the picture, but ended up punching through snow up to my crotch to get this photo!
 Helen's bird looks comfortably hidden.
