Beautiful photos!
Off-topic, but fun: I spent three hours yesterday "snow-farming" off my large driveway, to surprise my visitor from Tennessee with the luxurious Canadian experience of sleeping in a quinzee! Ran out of time to dig it out, so about to go do that now.
The snow farming "harvest".

WOW - real winter is here NOW!
Had a booking at Truffle Pigs Lodge in Field for the mid-week special.
Thursday - trail breaking workout to get to Taylor Lake in heavy, wet snowfall. Definitely earned us the fun, slow ski down in deep snow.
Friday - no tracksetting at Emerald Lake, but a good skier track along the hiking trail to end of lake. Circled around the lake on a well packed snow shoe trail back to Emerald Lake Lodge. More entertaining than crossing the lake and recommended when fresh snow.
Lucky for us that a group of skiers broke trail up the Yoho Valley Road to Stanley Mitchell Hut. Enjoyed our ski to the top of the switchbacks, then more falling snow on the return.
Drive home somewhat sketchy with intermittent blowing snow and poor visibility.
deep snow up to Taylor Lake
Happy to reach Taylor Lake in the storm
