No Louise Snowfa’s this year unfortunately. Diesel for my little car is far too expensive to justify a trip to Louise. But sure looked like a good day for a couch sit, if not a bit too cold.

Arrived at Morraine @10:30 -21C . Fresh grooming trackset on Morraine . YIPPPEE . Cold snow ..slow in skins but beautiful. Fairview recently rolled not tracked, so we headed up . Met the snowmobile roller packing for 2 nd pass .
Getting ready for Loppett this weekend. Followed shortcut to Lake on Loppet course- Lake was trackset with overnight snow. Upper Telemark was roller packed with skier tracks inviting us to Peyto . All trails were glorious -slow and fluffy snow . Great divide snow covered over recent trackset . Back up to Tramline - which had fresh perfect tracks. Had to double pole all the way down to Morrraine …perhaps too cold and soft deep snow. Hopefully should be great Lake Louise Loppett .
Fairview was truly heavenly; all that’s missing is The Couch .
