I wasn’t 100% certain but did recommend Shark on tomorrow’s Paul Karchut, Real Ski Report. Whew!

From the parking the view was hectares of freshly groomed pristine snow. So welcomed after previous experience of marginal snow. Grooming and tracks were solid on the Watridge trail to the Banff NP boundary. This provided a fast trip back to the crossing with Virgo. Virgo and Orion were still firm as the day warmed on our first pass. After lunch at the parking lot, the snow of Virgo and Orion softened for our second and third circuits.
The wind was drifting snow into the Watridge Lake trail by noon but loops were still unaffected by the wind.
Maybe my best day at Shark.
